To create an extra deep and dynamic bass sound, Volvo offers a subwoofer. The subwoofer produces a distinct, accurate and deep bass that enhances the sound experience noticeably. The subwoofer is fitted below the floor in the cargo compartment. NOTE: The subwoofer can only be used in combination with the Premium Sound system or High Performance Sound system. It is an advantage if the car is fitted with a high load floor at the factory. Irrespective of whether the car has a low or high load floor, fitting the subwoofer results in a high load floor.
