Navigation system, RTI
The RTI system is fully integrated in the car and has a 7 inch screen. Voice control1 and easy-to-use buttons on the steering wheel help prevent the driver from being distracted whilst driving. The navigation system and TMC2(Traffic Message Channel) makes driving easier and gives you traffic information. When the RTI system is installed, the Bluetooth Handsfree system works with voice control.
Select your desired final destination using voice control or via a few simple button pushes. A male or female voice gives you driving directions in good time prior to each new road option, supplementary on-screen information is also provided, so-called turn-by-turn-guiding. The system also has short cuts on the screen menu for the most frequently used functions.
You can simply enter the address of your destination with voice control. Voice Control is supported by the following languages: Swedish, English, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian.
To avoid roadworks, accidents or other traffic incidents, use TMC (Traffic Message Channel) for suggestions of alternative routes.
The 7 inch large screen shows your exact position, and an arrow guides you by showing you in which direction to travel. In addition to being able to see distance and remaining driving time to your final destination, you can also choose to see the fastest or shortest route there. In addition to street address destination, there is a list of different facilities to choose from, for example, sights, hotels and restaurants. If you do not know the name of, for example, a restaurant, it is possible to search a list of the nearest in the area. Together with address, the telephone number is also displayed. You can call and book hotels or reserve a table for example. If you deviate from your planned route, you automatically receive a new route proposal.
